UK: Muslim kids taught Hindus have ‘no intellect’

Muslim kids taught hatred towards other religionsLondon: Secret filming at Islamic schools in Birmingham and Yorkshire has revealed that Muslim pupils as young as 11 years are taught an intolerant and highly anti-social version of Islam, including lessons that teach that Hindus have ‘no intellect’ and that they ‘drink cow p***’.

The video has revealed a teacher at the Darul Uloom Islamic High School in Birmingham, one of at least 2,000 most influential Islamic faith schools in Britain, as referring to ‘non-Muslims’ as the ‘Kuffar’, an often derogatory term that means disbeliever or infidel, the Daily Mail reports.

Gesturing towards the window, the teacher said: “You’re not like the non-Muslims out there. All that evil you see in the streets, people not wearing the hijab properly, people smoking . . . you should hate it, you should hate walking down that street.”

Pupils are also taught that ‘disbelievers’ of Islam are ‘the worst creatures’, and that Muslims who adopt non-Muslim ways of living like shaving, dancing, listening to music, and not wearing headscarves would be tortured with a forked iron rod in the afterlife, the paper said.

During the same period, secret recorded videos of Markazi Jamia mosque in Keighley, West Yorkshire, have shown pupils being beaten up in its madrasas.

In just two days of filming in December 2010, the camera recorded the teacher hitting children as young as six or seven at least ten times, in less than three hours of lessons, the paper added.

Very less people know about Lal Bahadur Shastri and the values he stood for. But Manmohan Singh is considered by many as one of the most moral ministers and an epitome of integrity. Lets have a look how these 2 responded to the challenges faced by them.

Lal Bahadur Shastri

Most moral prime minister

In 1956-

In 1956, when a train accident killed 144 passengers near Ariyalur in Tamil Nadu, Shastriji resigned. Panditji refused to accept the resignation but he prevailed upon Panditji to accept it.

On the following day in Parliament, Nehru said no one could wish for a better comrade than Lal Bahadur. A man of the highest integrity and devoted to ideas is called Lal Bahadur, said Nehru.

Students taught about other religions apart from Islam

It aims at bridging the gap between different faiths, says Rector

This seminary has more than 1000 books on other religions

HYDERABAD: If you think it teaches only Islamic theology, you are mistaken. Here one can learn all about Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism and Sikhism. One can also gain knowledge about modern religions like Qadianis.

That's Al Mahadul Aali Al Islami for you. It is a madrasa with a difference. It marks a departure from the typical seminaries in that sacred texts of other religions also find place along with the Quran on its bookshelves.

“The idea is to highlight the common attributes in Islam and other religions. And this is possible only when we study the books of other religions”, says Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, Rector, Mahad.

This seminary has a bigger goal. Apart from promoting research and analytic spirit among the new generation of Ulemas, it aims to bridge the gap between different faiths. All the major religions share the same ethical values and believe in the ill-effects of alcohol, usury, adultery and gay culture. “By coming together we can fight these evils”, remarks Maulana Rahmani.

Situated on a hilly terrain near Shaheen Nagar, Barkas, Mahad has a good collection of more than 10,000 reference books on Islamic literature. Of this 1000 are on other religions.

The library has the complete set of Vedas, Manusmriti, the law of Manu, besides old and new Testaments, Talmud, the compendium of Judaism law, Guru Granth Sahib, biography of Gurunanak.

Besides, specialisation in Quranic sciences and Hadith, students at Mahad are equipped with basic English language and computer skills.
